CitaDeck designs and builds decks and patios in Gatineau. What follows simply describes how we work, so you know what to expect before you even contact us.
A clear, itemised quote
We spell out what is included: footings, structure, decking, stairs, railings, finishes and cleanup. You can see what each choice adds or removes from the total, which makes decisions easier.
If part of the project depends on something we cannot confirm before opening the ground, we say so instead of burying it in a lump sum.
Materials chosen for how you'll use it
We work with pressure-treated wood, cedar and composite. We lay out the differences in cost, upkeep and appearance, then recommend based on your budget and how you plan to use the deck.
We do not tie your project to a particular brand before confirming actual availability with the supplier.
3D design, as an option
Some projects benefit from being visualised first: multi-level decks, irregular shapes, sloped lots. 3D design is offered as a separate service, priced by quote based on the project, and is never mandatory.
We produce design plans and renderings to visualise and build your project. We do not provide architect- or engineer-sealed drawings, and we cannot guarantee that a permit application will be approved.
An organised site
You know which stages happen when, what will be noisy, where materials will be stored and when the yard becomes usable again. The site is cleaned when the work is done.
We work in French and English
We answer in the language you prefer, from the first email through to the end of the project.
Permits and municipal rules
What applies to a deck depends on the project: height, area, distance from lot lines, zoning. We make no claims about regulatory thresholds or permit approval. For your specific situation, contact the City of Gatineau, which is the official source.
