How we proceed
It starts with the inspection. We look at the joists, posts, anchors and the points where the deck meets the house, because that determines whether a renovation is realistic or whether you would be spending on a tired base.
Once the structure checks out, we strip the old decking, correct what needs correcting, then install the new material with the right fasteners. Railings are often what changes the final look the most.
